Raleigh’s giant acorn has been on the move lately , but it seems like it is adjusting nicely at its new home in City Plaza .

The 1,250-pound copper and steel acorn was moved last Friday, May 5. “It was moved as an effort to revitalize City Plaza and to place it where it is visible to a wide array of visitors,” Raleigh Arts told RALtoday.

We can’t wait to Sip n’ Stroll right by this famous Raleigh nut.
