NC Museum of Natural Sciences debuts a dinosaur license plate

Take your plate game to new levels with NC Museum of Natural Science’s new dinosaur license plate. Pre-ordering is open until Friday, April 18.

Calling all dinosaur lovers. The NC Museum of Natural Sciences recently debuted a new dinosaur license plate. The design features the skeleton of the rare dinosaur Acrocanthosaurus, one of the museum’s signature dinosaurs.

Acrocanthosaurus, also referred to as Acro lived 110 million years ago and is called the “Terror of The South” for preying on other larger dinosaurs.

Get in on the dino action and pre-order a standard plate for $30, with $20 directly benefiting the museum’s programs like the Journey to Space Exhibition. You can also personalize the plate with letters and numders for $60.

To order, complete the application form and mail it to Kayla Gurley at Friends of the Museum in Raleigh.
