The Governor’s Club in Chapel Hill — sitting in the Chatham County school zone — is a mountain-like resort neighborhood built around an award-winning 27-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course.

With prices running from the mid-400′s to the millions, homes sit in a number of subdivisions and are complemented by stunning views of the golf course, tranquil streams, old-growth woods + lakes.

You’ll need a car to get around the neighborhood, but there are a number of fun restaurants within walking distance. Looking to bookmark the must-dos? We recommend stops at:

  • Tarantini’s — for dinner
  • Southern Village — for fun outdoor activities on the green
  • The Botanical Gardens — a quick drive over

Peep a few of our favorite homes in the area and learn more about Chapel Hill’s neighborhoods.*
