The Bike Library offers a different type of roadside assistance

This local bike service has set up shop on the ground floor of Platform Apartments downtown, offering coffee and more.

Indoor bike storage with six bicycles vertically hung on a wall rack. A red toolbox is on the right, and a potted plant hangs near a window on the left.

The Bike Library, known for its container that operates as Raleigh’s only trailside rental shop, has brought its services to the West End neighborhood.

Now, you can head to the newly opened storefront inside Platform Apartments every Tuesday through Sunday to get your:

Bike fix
Buy a new or refurbished bike, or rent a restored model — rates start at $25 for two hours. This can also be your one-stop shop for repair services, from tune-ups and overhauls to flat fixes and hydraulic bleeds.

Caffeine fix
Meet up with other bike enthusiasts for a cup of coffee made from local roastery The Left Hook. The perfect start to any bike ride.

Bonus: Don’t miss the grand opening celebration on Friday, Aug. 8 + weekly rides like the Espresso Express.

When visiting, you might also want to check out neighboring business, Homebody Yoga + the upcoming second location of Mood nail salon.
