Newly opened

Cafe Carolina, 2130 Clark Ave. | Opened August 2023 | Customers can check out the bakery’s new larger space located a few steps away from its previous spot in the Village District.

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, 2014 Cameron St. | Opened May 2023 | Pop into this scoop shop for a unique sweet treat with flavors like bombastix sundae cone, everything bagel, and goat cheese with red cherries.

Studio Volare, 402 Oberlin Rd., Ste. 104 | Opened July 2023 | Get your sweat on at this locally owned indoor cycling and barre studio. Pro tip: Free parking is available in the Berkshire Village District parking deck.

The Shade Store, 419A Daniels St. | Opened August 2023 | Specializing in handcrafted shades, blinds, and drapery, shoppers can walk in or shop by appointment.

Ballard Designs, 443B Daniels St. | Opening in Q1, 2024 | Soon shoppers will be able to browse European-inspired home furniture and decor pieces.

Coastal Urge, 440 Daniels St. | Opening Friday, Sept. 1 | Hailing from Bald Head Island, NC, this island lifestyle shop will offer a wide selection of men and women’s activewear, swimwear, shoes, and accessories.

Oberlin Hotel, the intersection of Woodburn Road and Cameron Street | Completion set for 2025 | This upscale boutique hotel will offer guests 153 rooms and presidential suites and features like a high-end restaurant + rooftop bar, a courtyard with a covered patio, and a soundstage for live music.

Shake Shack, 2010 Clark Ave. | Estimated to open in October | This burger joint will have a 3,679 sqft kitchen and dining area, complete with a patio.
