Back to school donation spots in Wake County

Wake County Public Schools are back in session on Mon., Aug. 29. To get ready for the upcoming school year, below are nine spots to donate school supplies for teachers in the Triangle.

Did you know that NC teachers spend an average of $526 of their own earnings on school supplies each year? WakeEd Partnership’s Tools4Schools program provides free school supplies to teachers in Wake County. Teachers can sign up for a time slot to browse the storefront at 1660 Piney Plains Rd., Cary. Help stock the program’s shelves by donating online or dropping off items like pencils, pocket folders + crayons to one of the nine locations below.

Each date listed is the last day to donate.

  • Crosspointe Church, 6911 Carpenter Fire Station Rd., Cary | Sat., Aug. 20 | Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. + Sunday, 10-11:15 a.m.
