Scattered throughout the city are art galleries that serve not only as showcases for stunning works, but also as gathering spots where social connections are formed and nurtured. These six galleries possess both visual experiences and social destinations.

NC Museum of Art | Since 1924, this artistic space has been providing crafty experiences. Currently on display are “From Alpha to Creation: Religion in the Deep South” through this Sunday, Aug. 18 and “Park Billboards: Steven Paul Judd.”
