Of the 5,000 fastest-growing companies in the US, 40 of them are right here in the Raleigh area. One even cracked the top ten.

How do businesses make the Inc. 5000? The annual list ranks companies based on three-year revenue growth. Companies have to be privately held, for profit, and independently owned at the end of 2021.

The list includes 40 Raleigh-based businesses that had a median growth of 223%, earned a total revenue of $1.5 billion, and added 4,005 jobs. Seven of these companies are newly founded and 23 are repeat honorees.
