Noon Year’s Eve | Saturday, Dec. 31 | 9 a.m.-12 p.m. | John Chavis Memorial Park, 505 Martin Luther King Blvd. | $5 | This family-friendly event features crafts, a dance party, games, and a special countdown at 12 p.m.

No fuss, no frills | Saturday, Dec. 31 | 12 p.m.-2 a.m. | Boxcar Bar + Arcade, 330 W. Davie St. | Free | Enter 2023 playing games and popping $25-dollar champagne bottles. Bonus: There’s no cover charge or dress code.

First Night Raleigh | Saturday, Dec. 31 | 2 p.m.-12 a.m. | Fayetteville Street | $12+ | Celebrate the new year with live performances, a skate park, a ferris wheel, and two acorn drops (one at 6 p.m. and one at 12 a.m.) — plus, there will be fireworks.
