Raleigh’s community-focused fall market + festival is back on Sat., Oct. 15. This year’s Falling for Local (hosted by Shop Local Raleigh, Dix Park, + Dix Park Conservancy) autumnal celebration at Dix Park will feature eateries, live entertainment, fall activities, local makers, and NC craft breweries.

Let’s dive into fall with these can’t-miss activities and vendors.

Family-friendly fall fun

There will be plenty of free activities to keep the whole family feeling gourd from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Highlights include hay rides, inflatables, classic cars, yard games, and ponies to pet.

The festival will have three stages with seven bands and eight performers + presenters ranging from dog training with Oak City K9 to floral arrangements with The English Garden.

Make sure to also wish Stormy, the Canes’ official mascot, good luck this season from 11 a.m.-12 p.m.

Bonus: If you haven’t picked out the perfect pumpkin yet — here’s your chance. Festival goers will be able to enjoy a free pumpkin patch with over 2,000 pumpkins to choose from.

Wear your stretchy pants and bring a reusable bag — there will be 40+ food trucks and tents, 20+ breweries + cideries, and 100+ local makers and businesses to shop from. Drink tickets are sold in bundles and can be redeemed for a sample or pint-sized pour.
