Coffee beans are locally roasted to perfection, meaning coffee made any way is good. Pro tip: The chicken salad is phenomenal.

Get excited, RAL. Black & White Coffee Roasters just opened at Raleigh-Durham International Airport.

The popular Raleigh coffee shop + roastery partnered with Grove Bay to make its landing at RDU — and Raleighite travelers who fancy a good coffee are rejoicing over having the local fave for a pre- or post- flight fix.

We wanted to see the new Terminal 2 coffee digs, so we tried Black & White at RDU for ourselves. Here’s what we loved:

Fast + delish

We particularly loved the easy-ordering touchscreens (perfect for those kinds of travel days), and the coffee, per usual, was fab.

Coffee (and more) for everyone

In a hurry? Here’s our top menu suggests:

  • Fan favorite: Vanilla Latte
  • Simplicity at its best: Iced single-origin coffee
  • For the coffee newbs (and aficionados): Mocha Latte
  • Non-coffee caffeine fix: Chai Latte
  • Seasonal fun: Dirty Shirley (like a Shirley Temple, but with coffee)
  • Gotta try: Union Special bakery eats
  • Don’t miss: First in Flight beans — exclusively roasted for RDU
