Tickets go on sale today for NCMA members to attend the annual Art in Bloom exhibit this June, after last year’s was canceled due to the pandemic.

This event features installations created by floral designers that are inspired by the works of art that are hanging in the West Building of the museum.

Tickets will go on sale for non-members next Wed. Apr. 14. The exhibit will run for two extended weekends June 3–6 + June 10–13.

This year, the exhibit will feature more than 30 floral arrangements, many of which will change during the week between the two weekend events.

Also making a comeback this year will be the trash can bouquets and installations around Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill. They’ll be popping up in new locations and iterations in the weeks leading up to Art in Bloom. Follow NCMA’s social media platforms @ncartmuseum to see where they’re at — bonus points if you snap a pic of them in the wild and tag us #RALtoday.

Tickets start at $18 for members and $20 for nonmembers. Children 6 and under are free. Proceeds from Art in Bloom support museum programming and exhibitions + benefit the NCMA Foundation.

Note: The museum will be operating at a reduced capacity, and cloth face coverings and social distancing are required. Find more about the NCMA’s visitor updates here.
