The Carolina Hurricanes are moving on to Round 3 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, making it to the Eastern Conference finals for the fifth time in franchise history. The Canes are two rounds away from securing their second Stanley Cup.

After a thrilling overtime performance in Round 2, Game 5 on Thursday, May 11, the Hurricanes took the best-of-seven series 4-1 over the New Jersey Devils at PNC Arena.

Our home team has made it to the postseason eight times in the past 21 years, appearing in the Stanley Cup Finals in 2002 and 2006. The Canes have secured the cup once, in 2006 against the Edmonton Oilers.

Next up: After a staggering season plagued with injuries, the Canes will face the Florida Panthers in the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time in postseason history. The winner of the best-of-seven set will move on to the championship.

Get ready for the storm surge. Purchase tickets for Round 3.

Looking for somewhere to watch the game? Carolina Ale House is the official watch party headquarters for the Canes.
