Plan your weekend and pour those mimosas. We’ve compiled a whole bunch of brunch options — whether you’re on the hunt for fluffy eggs or stacked chicken and waffles — along with menu recs and pro tips.

Weekend musts

Barking Dog | Bring Fido along to this dog-friendly NYC fave. We’re eyeing the short rib benedict and a Yappy Yogurt Parfait.

Smokestacks Cafe | Pro tip: Check Instagram for the daily menu — and if the smoked buffalo chicken biscuit is being served, order it.

Great outdoors

Hummingbird | Oysters for breakfast? Yes please. We’re ordering charbroiled oysters with lemon, chili, Parmesan, herbs, and toast.

Taverna Agora | What we’re ordering: Baklava sticky buns.

Whiskey Kitchen | Try this: Shakshouka or a Nash Square breakfast sammy.

Quick and easy

Benchwarmers Bagels | This shop takes bagel sandwiches to the next level — and food magazine Bon Appétit agrees.

Tous les Jours | This French-Asian bakery has a wide variety of fluffy breads, sweet pastries, and fun coffee drinks for a little pick-me-up.

The Wrap

I haven’t been able to follow Wolfpack basketball as closely this season, but you know I’m cheering them on in the ACC men’s tournament this week — and there’s still plenty of tickets in Charlotte. As much as I love my team, though, it feels like the year for Duke’s men’s and women’s teams.
