The Triangle got up to three inches of snow — much less than other parts of NC. | Photos by readers Wendy + Robin and RALtoday
After a surprising dry slot covering Raleigh + much of central NC, the Triangle got up to three inches of snow this weekend, and some of our readers sent in their best pics of the winter wonderland.
On the left, reader Wendy’s gnome was up to his chin in snow, and the stone hedgehog hiding in the shadow was nearly covered.
On the right, reader Robin sent a gorgeous picture of the untouched snowy landscape outside her door.
Allie here — I couldn’t resist adding in my own photo in the middle of a brick walkway in my neighborhood. I also brought out my film camera for some snowy Boylan Bridge photos, and I’ll share if they turn out any good.
