ICYMI, Clyde Cooper’s is moving from Wilmington Street, and the storied barbecue spot has found a new home in Quail Corners in North Raleigh, also home to Big Ed’s and Deja Brew. Clyde Cooper’s first announced plans to move in 2023, citing concerns about foot traffic and crime. (CBS 17)

Construction started this week on RDU’s $2.5 billion expansion project, and while the project won’t be completed until 2032, flyers will see changes even sooner. Plans include the new, longer runway that will give Terminal 2 room to expand, an upgraded baggage claim area, and a new international arrivals space. (WRAL)

The City of Raleigh is warning locals about fake QR codes on downtown parking spots. Physical meters or the Passport parking app are the only payment methods used by the city for street parking — some garages use their own QR codes.
