Allie here — I can’t get enough of fall flavors, and local coffee shops are coming out in force with their autumnal menus. Here are a few I’m ready to sip on this fall.
Blackbird Books & Coffee | The morning bun, snickerdoodle, and spicy mocha lattes are calling our name, and if you’re not into coffee, you can curl up with a good book and an apple butter chai, bananas foster matcha, or a hot apple cider.
Jubala | We bet you’ve never had a spicy churro flat white. Made with Cinnamon Toast Crunch-infused milk, Videri chocolate, and chile de arbol, this is one of the most unique seasonal drinks we’ve found.
Little Native Coffee Co. | Stop by this snug coffee shop for an ube milk matcha, a pumpkin butter latte, or a maple brown sugar cappuccino. Pro tip: Book tea time at the next door speak-tea-sy.
Check out all of our local coffee shops to explore their seasonal menus.

After dumpling restaurant MOFU Shoppe closed its doors earlier this summer, Raleighites have spotted signage for a new Vietnamese restaurant to take its place.
Although there isn’t much info on the new eatery, we’re hoping for Vietnamese bites like pho noodle soup, banh mi sandwiches, and goi con, similar to spring rolls. If you’re not familiar with Vietnamese food yet, give it a try at Anise Pho downtown or Midtown Pho before Saigon Kitchen opens.
