🏬 Crabtree’s new look

Take a look at what Crabtree Valley Mall might look like in just a few years. | Rendering provided by Crabtree Valley Mall
“Retailers want to be here, and our vision is clear — reimagining the mall with a dynamic mix of tenants, elevated customer experiences, and modern, inviting spaces.” That’s what Cory Scott, Executive Vice President of Macerich, Crabtree Valley Mall‘s new owner, had to say about the new vision for the mall with some fresh renderings.

With the help of $60 milllion, Crabtree will get a new paint job, lighting, handrails, furniture, and lots more as part of a modernization project. Plus, expect a revitalized foodcourt and stormwater system upgrades (IYKYK).

New stores coming to Crabtree include a Dick’s House of Sport, replacing the Sears that was an anchor tenant since the mall opened in 1972. We can’t wait for what’s next.

The Wrap

Hey Raleigh, and happy Monday! I’m such a Vivian Howard fan and desperately miss her former show, “A Chef’s Life.” Although I’ve never been able to make it out to one of her restaurants, I love treating myself to hand pies from Viv’s FridgeI feel like that’s the next best thing.
