Seaboard Station is getting another tasty addition. Boatman Spirits Co., a Mediterranean restaurant + distillery, hosted an intimate preview earlier this week showcasing some of its forthcoming menu options. City Editor Danyale here. I enjoyed the herb-roasted chicken wings and the lamb burger. The spot will open soon, with no exact date announced yet, but make sure to keep it on your radar.

Drink
Here’s the tea. Tuesday, June 10 is National Iced Tea Day, and there’s only one way to celebrate. If you have thoughts of iced tea steeping in your mind right now, we recommend checking out cafes in our coffee guide — because where there’s iced coffee, there’s often iced tea.
Listen
Turn up the tunes — Spotify shared its predictions for 2025’s song of the summer, including tracks by Lorde, Lady Gaga, and Morgan Wallen. If you’d like to add some local flair to your playlist, we recommend these songs by artists with ties to Raleigh.
Kids
Get your popcorn. Cinemark’s Summer Movie Clubhouse is back. The seasonal promotion will let you escape the Raleigh heat by offering family-friendly movies on Wednesday mornings with $1.75 tickets, plus discounts on concessions. Next up: “The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water.”
