The Carolina Hurricanes are headed to Game 5 of round 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs tonight against the New Jersey Devils. Here’s what to know before the puck drops.

After two wins in the Lenovo Center, the Canes fell to the Devils in double overtime in Game 3 but came back on Sunday with a decisive 5-2 victory — and a hat trick for Andrei Svechnikov — to return to Raleigh in Game 5. Grab your tickets now.

If and when the Canes win tonight, they’ll advance to round 2, which would be against either the Washington Capitals and the NHL’s top scorer of all time, Alex Ovechkin, or the Montreal Canadiens — the Caps also lead 3-1.

In Game 4, goalie Frederik Andersen was injured in the second period and was replaced by Pyotr Kochetkov. Head coach Rod Brind’Amour had no answer on Andersen’s return Monday.
