🎨 Artspace’s big win
Artspace provides a space where artists can be supported. | Photo by RALtoday
The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts awarded Raleigh’s Artpace with an $80,000 multi-year program support grant. This funding will help the gallery support artists through exhibitions, professional development, and residencies.
“This grant ensures that we can continue to host inspirational exhibitions while providing essential assistance, opportunities and programs, which strengthen our community of artists who are redefining what’s possible in the field,” said Annah Lee, Creative Director of Artspace in a press release.
The grant will support rotating exhibitions and three residency programs:
North Carolina Emerging Artist Residency
HBCU Alumni Artist Residency
Universal Access Artist Residency
Artspace is one of 47 organizations receiving funding in this cycle, which aims to create + expand opportunities for artists at various stages of their careers. The program provides resources, mentorship, and a platform for artists, particularly those from underrepresented groups.
