Hillsborough Street just got tastier with the addition of three new restaurants located inside of the Uncommon student apartment building. UNC announced Lee Roberts as its 13th chancellor — Roberts has served as interim chancellor since December 2023 when Kevin Guskiewicz stepped down. Roberts’ background is in finance and real estate and he previously served as chair of the university’s budget committee.

Gov. Roy Cooper announced all of NC’s 99 eligible hospitals have agreed to participate in the state’s plan to relieve medical debt for millions of people. This first-in-the-nation program is set to impact families across the state. (Axios Raleigh)
