Get ready to hop into fun. Hopscotch Music Festival is returning to Raleigh Sept. 5-7 for three days of fun, music, and immaculate vibes. The Raleigh Greek Festival returns this weekend starting today through Sunday, June 2 in the Jim Graham Building at the NC State Fairgrounds. Price for admission is $5 for attendees 13 and older. Come hungry and prepared to indulge in traditional Greek food assortments, live music + dancing.
Kids
The kiddos are going to lose their marbles. Marbles Kids Museum’s central courtyard will be transformed into a multi-functional play space with construction starting June 3, and the area will remain operational. The newly renovated space will include a shaded area, public art, climbing equipment + a greenspace.
Travel
Travel options to Pinehurst for the US Open have expanded. The “Open Express” will run daily starting June 13-16 from Raleigh Union Station and Cary at 7 a.m. to arrive at Pinehurst Clubhouse thanks to NC By Train, Amtrak, Aberdeen Carolina & Western Railway + the U.S. Golf Association. (CBS 17)

NC residents may get to experience an encore of the northern lights. While the experience is not definite, scientists predict that the highest chance of viewing will occur Thursday, June 6. (The News & Observer)
