Raleigh neighborhood restaurant Standard Beer and Food will expand to the North Hills Innovation District.

With plans to add its vibrant flare to the $1 billion upcoming development headed by Kane Realty Corporation, the new district will feature 60,000 sqft of walkable ground level retail space and four acres of outdoor natural areas.

Standard’s second location will open its doors in the NHID with a 5,600 sqft stand-alone space and an additional 15,000 sqft outside, the most of any North Hills biz to date.

“We believe in fostering a community that values innovation, local flavor, and collaboration, and Standard exemplifies these ideals,” said Stacey Buescher, Managing Director of Operations for Kane Realty Corporation.

Known for serving up killer smash burgers, innovative brunch bites, and refreshing brews + cocktails, this locally owned brewpub prides itself in sourcing fresh ingredients from partners like Raleigh City Farm, Joyce Farms, and Fox Farm & Forage.

The first office and residential spaces in the Innovation District will open this summer with retail and food + beverage to follow — we look forward to raising a classic Standard glass in the new space.
