More than 20 nonstop flights landed at RDU in 2023, with even more arriving in 2024. Keep reading to book a flight and cure your travel bug at our local airport.

New international flights at RDU in 2024

Pack your bags for 2024, here’s what just landed:
  • Frankfurt | Wave auf wiedersehen to NC on your flight to Germany via Lufthansa.
  • Panama City, Panama | Copa Airlines is RDU’s 18th airline and connects NC to Central + South America. Panama City marks RDU’s 10th international destination.
  • If you’re craving an escape from the NC heat, Icelandair has expanded its schedule to offer four-day-a-week seasonal service May through October.

The 2024 Good Food Awards Finalists were announced, and 10 products from the Triangle — that were selected from over 1,700 entries — topped the blind taste test and passed a screening for category-specific sustainability standards.

From chocolate and confections to beer and preserves, the Triangle is represented in eight of the 17 categories.
