Editor Emily here. I’m helping out Cat + Allie, which means that I have the chance to bring you today’s edition of RALweekend.
I’m based in Asheville, NC, but I’ve grown up visiting Raleigh multiple times a year because my family and I are big Caniacs. Some of my favorite childhood memories were made in the RBC Center — err, I mean PNC Arena.
All this being said, it’s probably no surprise that I’ll be spending tonight and Saturday evening cheering on the Canes as they take on the Flames and the Canucks, respectively. Both games are away, so cozy up on your couch with your favorite game day snacks or head to a local sports bar — like Carolina Ale House and Sports and Social — with friends and enjoy the lively atmosphere. Go Canes.
