Howdy, folks. City Editor Cat here. Can you believe it’s almost October? With that, there are tons of artists making their way to perform in the City of Oaks next month. Some concerts I’m particularly excited about are Dean Lewis at Lincoln Theatre this Saturday, Sept. 30, The Brook & The Bluff on Oct. 26 at Lincoln Theatre, Band Together presents Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit on Oct. 7 at Red Hat Amphitheater, and RAYE on Oct. 19 at The Ritz.
ICYMI: You can plan your own Raleigh music tour with our fall concert lineup.
Keep reading for more weekend happenings and to play a fun name game.

Scottsdale, Arizona has made a name for itself not only for being a hot spot for outdoor enthusiasts, but also for those looking for food, fun and endless shopping.
Why go?
Scottsdale and its surrounding cities like Phoenix and Tempe have something for everyone, even the kids. From golf courses, to high-end shopping and spas, to the Arizona Boardwalk, it’s simply impossible to run out of things to do both indoors (I’m looking at you, Summer) and outside.
