“Raleigh poets’ night out”
Sitting in a bar downtown,
pruning minutes
back to the sweet,
we wrap another broken day
in a three-course rescue
of close talk
and swap perfect
for comfortable.
What happy erasure!

Speaking of Cook Out milkshakes, my go-to is Oreo Mint. Cat likes Chocolate Chip Mint. What’s your favorite flavor? Let us know. (You can see them all here.) See ya at the drive-through for shakes.
