We canât help but be a little starstruck. The 65th Annual Grammy Awards were last Sunday and multiple winners are bringing their talents to the Raleigh area.
Alphabet Rockers, a childrenâs hip-hop music collective, won Best Childrenâs Music Album for âThe Movement.â Theyâre performing at NC State this Wednesday, Feb. 8 as part of the universityâs Kidstuff Series.
Singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile took home three awards. Her song âBroken Horsesâ won Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song, and her LP âIn These Silent Daysâ won Best Americana Album. See her live at DPAC on Wednesday, Feb. 22.
Although Taylor Swift isnât bring The Eras Tour to Raleigh, we can still celebrate her winning Best Music Video for âAll Too Well: The Short Film.â Donât miss The Taylor Party at The Ritz on Friday, April 7. You can also see one of her Grammy gowns at The Power of Women in Country Music exhibit, now through Sunday, Feb. 26 at the NC Museum of History.
