Whether you have trick-or-treaters at home or are looking for a party for grown-up goblins and ghouls, we’ve curated a list of local Halloween events taking place at the end of October.

Zombiepalooza, Downtown Cary Park | Friday, Oct. 25 | Free to attend | Local filmmakers have used their brains to concoct short zombie films that will be screened in the park. Plus, enjoy zombie-themed activities and a costume contest for the entire family.

Haunted Trolley Tour, Mordecai Historic Park | Friday, Oct. 25-Saturday, Oct. 26 | Hop on the Raleigh trolley for a ride through Oak City’s most haunted places with some ghastly visitors along the way.

Dia de Oakwood, Oakwood Cemetery | Saturday, Oct. 26-Saturday, Nov. 2 | This historic cemetery has got it all for Dia de los Muertos — a 5K, free screening of “Coco,” and a Catarina Parade to cap the celebrations.
