Raleigh’s beverage scene is bubbling with tasty options. No matter where you go in the Triangle, there’s one thing that’ll always be certain — a good bev is always near. So here are our favorites:

City Editor Danyale

Whiskey Kitchen, 201 W. Martin St. | My favorite cocktail of Drink Up Week has been the seasonal Patio Pimm’pin bev. It features strawberry basil syrup, white balsamic, ginger, Conniption gin, Pimm’s + soda — it’s a great refresher for after work.

Idle Hour Coffee Roasters, 1818 Oberlin Rd. | Matcha in the morning, or really any time of the day, always hits the spot for me. The acquired taste gives me a boost in energy + a subtle support with focus.

Juicekeys, 5011 Falls of Neuse Rd. | When I’m in need of something delicious and light, I stop by and grab a Dreamsicle smoothie that features orange juice, mango, banana, coconut ice, cashew butter, honey, and vegan protein.

Wolfe & Porter, 905 W. Morgan St. | This new spot is always hopping, which makes the Hoptini a perfect refreshment. Stop by to grab your own + hang out on the patio or the Cellar.

The Willard, 9 Glenwood Ave. | Stunning skyline views? Check. A beautiful outdoor space? Check. Great bevs? You know it. Try the Train Car cocktail made with Mystic bourbon, d’usse cognac, coconut cream liqueur, heavy cream, and pecan and coffee bean orgeat. This cocktail and its maker, Conley Marie, are competing in the 2024 NCRLA Chef Showdown.

Tap Yard Raleigh, 1610 Automotive Wy. | We’re feeling honored to have our name on this spot’s blackberry martini to cool off from these hot NC nights in the one acre beer garden.
