First Bank’s debuts Out Of This World Educator Awards

Did a third grade teacher’s kindness + dedication to their job help shape the course of your life? Have you seen magic happen with your child’s comprehension thanks to a dedicated and creative tutor?

First Bank is looking for the best and brightest teachers in the Carolinas who inspire learning every day for their first-ever Out Of This World Educator Awards. 🚀

Nominees can be current or former educators and serve students of any age in traditional or non-traditional learning environments.

Nominations are now open and will be accepted through Sun., Sept. 18. Those selected will be awarded a $5,000 prize and celebrated at a special ceremony on Oct. 6 in Southern Pines, NC.

Project Launch is a 2022 First Bank initiative that aims to donate $500,000 in support of new + ongoing educational programs throughout the Carolinas.
