DYK? First Bank’s brand new regional headquarters recently opened at 3620 Six Forks Rd. in midtown Raleigh. While First Bank has numerous locations across Wake County (including Cary, Apex, and Fuquay-Varina), the midtown location is the largest and newest Raleigh-area branch.

The local, community-focused bank was established in the heart of NC in 1935, providing personalized services to individuals and businesses. In fact, they have a deep history of supporting small- and medium-sized businesses and the community in and around Wake County.

Experience:

We recently got a chance to tour the new HQ + meet the team of the bank that Forbes just so happened to name NC’s “Best-In-State Bank” in 2020 (kind of a big deal). 🤝

What we tried:

We met with Danielle King, VP and Branch Manager, to tour the new facility + learn more about what First Bank has to offer. Not only is the new branch gorgeous, but we got to meet the team of bankers who seem genuinely excited to provide exceptional service.

What not to miss:

As you walk through the branch’s doors, look to your right and you’ll see First Bank’s original vault from 1935. This small piece of history reminds visitors of First Bank’s NC roots.

What we’re still talking about:

We cannot stop thinking about those floor-to-ceiling windows + the branch’s clean, open concept design.

We were also wowed by the amount of community space for individuals to meet with bankers and discuss finances — including free financial ed + resources. ProTip: Now is a great time to explore business, home, HELOC and other loans in this low-rate environment.

If you’re ready to stop by to check out the new building, meet the team, and consider making the switch to a local, community-focused bank — here some things to know before you go:

First Bank is a Member FDIC | Equal Housing Lender.
