Raleigh-Durham Startup Week is here, and over the next five days there’s going to be tons of learning, networking, and building is going to happen in Oak City + Bull City — you’re going to want in on this.
The free event was created to support the Triangle entrepreneurial community by providing in-person workshops featuring speakers of varying professional backgrounds. This year’s events will feature 100+ speakers, including local businesswomen like multi-entrepreneur Jess Ekstrom and Maggie Kane, the founder and executive director of A Place at the Table.
Attendees are given the choice of more than 50 specialty sessions and the opportunity to sign up for as many as they want, and you’re able to narrow your focus based on what’s needed individually. Sessions range from topics like
- Scaling B2C Sales: Unlocking Growth in the Consumer Market
- How to Unlock Hidden Marketing and Brand Opportunities to Grow Revenue
- Everything You Should be Doing that’s not Building a Pitch Deck & 101 Common Pitfalls of First Time Founders
- More Than a Seat at the Table: Building Real Space for Women in Startups
- How Your Inner Circle Can Make or Break Your Success
If you’re looking to make new connections outside of the sessions, there are built-in opportunities for that, too. There will be upwards of two networking events per day in both Raleigh and Durham. Pro tip: Take a glance at the whole week’s schedule of sessions + networking and sign up early — slots are limited.
You can sign up for workshops, speaker sessions, and networking through the last day of the event, Friday, April 11.
