NC’s Chinese Lantern Festival returns to light up 2024

The NC Chinese Lantern Festival will return to illuminate the Triangle at Cary’s Koka Booth Amphitheatre from Saturday, Nov. 6 through Sunday, Jan. 12.

NC Chinese Lantern Festival returns for its ninth year at Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary on Saturday, Nov. 16 and will run until Sunday, Jan. 12. Amassing hundreds of thousands of attendees each year, the self-guided walking tour displays 50+ large lantern displays and features nightly performances.

Tickets are currently on sale and some of the event’s special nights have already been announced.

  • Sensory Friendly Night is scheduled for Dec. 3 and will feature lower music levels, decreased capacity, access to a quiet area + strobe lights will be discontinued for the evening.
  • The Twilight Experience will be on Mondays + Sundays and will allow crowds to see the lights come to life starting at sunset.
