TheWord: euphoria. A feeling of intense excitement and happiness. Also — Greenville, SC’s premier food, wine + music festival.

For the past 15 years, chefs and foodies from all over have headed into Greenville, SC to participate in euphoria, which takes place in the heart of downtown Greenville, benefits the local community through its nonprofit arm, and features 40+ events throughout the weekend — including 3 Michelin-starred dinners, 10 guest chef dinners, and 15 classrooms, covering everything from beer and biscuits to wine and chocolate.

Tickets are on sale now for euphoria 2021, happening Sept. 16-19, and several events are already sold out — so advanced ticket purchases are strongly recommended.

The 2019 festival’s economic impact on Greenville soared to $3.8 million | Photo provided by euphoria

DYK euphoria is a nonprofit? Through its annual grant program, it’s supported 40+ Greenville charities that help children with music and performing arts and work to eliminate hunger. In 2020, through a grant to United Ministries Interfaith Hospitality Network, euphoria purchased enough local produce boxes from Mill Village Farms to feed 24 homeless families for an entire year.

With ~$1 million in CARES Act funding, euphoria has been coordinating the Connect for Good GVL initiative to purchase meals from Greenville-area restaurants, creating consistent revenue streams + protecting countless hospitality jobs.

Note: Organizers will monitor the COVID-19 situation over the next several months and update protocols accordingly to ensure a safe event for everyone involved.
