The Durham Bulls are back — and they’ve got a packed list of promotions and events to make up for the 600 days fans had to go without games.

Opening night is May 11 against division opponent the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, and local healthcare heroes will be celebrated for their dedication to the Triangle community during the game.

After last year, we could all use some laughter — the game on Sat. May, 15 will feature a comical roast of last year titled “2020: That Was Some Bull” + fans will have a chance to claim a t-shirt celebrating the DBAP’s 25th anniversary in 2020 or a Chipper Jones Number Retirement bobblehead.

The second home series against the Charlotte Knights features a dog-friendly game on Weds. May, 19. Events to also add to your calendar include mascot Wool E. Bull’s birthday on May 23 + Bull Durham Night on May 22 when the team will wear jerseys based on the movie.

Plus, the Bulls are starting the season with the No.1 MLB prospect Wander Franco playing. Catch him while he’s here, folks. Tickets are being sold on a month-by-month basis, and May tickets are on sale now. However, you can purchase the Best of Everything Plan and get 9 tickets to be used at any regular season home games.
