Today is pumpkin drop-off day for the Pumpkin Flotilla at the Bond Park Boathouse (801 High House Rd., Cary). Floats are available on a first come, first served basis. Drop off your creation today from 4-6 p.m. and watch your jack-o'-lantern set sail on Fri., Oct. 28.
The event will also feature live music from Ed Stephenson and food trucks. Plus, boat rentals will be available.
Pro tip: Can’t make the pumpkin send off? The jack-o'-lanterns are typically left floating on the lake and relit the following nights.
