Humor writer David Sedaris is coming home to Raleigh with “An Evening with David Sedaris” at the Martin Marietta Center on April 18, 2026, and tickets are on sale now.

The event will include a Q+A and book signing with copies of his upcoming book, “A Carnival of Snackery and Pretty Ugly,” available courtesy of Quail Ridge Books.

Sedaris is known for his sardonic wit on NPR and wide collection of personal essays, and his work is even better on stage. Grab a copy of Sedaris classics with Raleigh stories like “Me Talk Pretty One Day” from a local independent bookstore.
