These Official Rules govern the RALtoday × Coastal Federal Credit Union $1,000 Holiday Shopping Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”). All participants will be bound by these Official Rules.
SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD
The Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on November 3, 2025 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on November 14, 2025 (the “Sweepstakes Period”).
PRIZE
One winner will be selected to receive $1,000 cash. Prize will be fulfilled by Coastal Federal Credit Union (“Coastal” or the “Credit Union”). The winner may choose prize delivery by check or by ACH deposit to a U.S. deposit account. If the winner does not wish to provide account information, a check will be issued instead. Prizes are non-assignable and non-transferable, except to a winner’s surviving spouse or estate. Winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and any other expenses not specified. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. No purchase or transaction is required to enter.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE
The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years or older as of November 3, 2025. Coastal membership is not required to enter or win. Employees, officers, directors, volunteers, and contractors of Coastal Federal Credit Union, 6AM City, Inc. (publisher of RALtoday), and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and sweepstakes agencies, suppliers, and promotional partners (collectively, the “Employees”), and the immediate family members of Employees (defined as parent, spouse, child, sibling, or grandparent, and the spouse of any of them) and/or any persons living in the same household as Employees are not eligible to participate. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address or social media account used to enter.
Entry Limits. Unless otherwise stated below, limit five (5) total entries per person across all entry methods combined. Use of robotic, automatic, duplicate, or programmed methods of entry is prohibited and will result in disqualification.
HOW TO ENTER
There are two ways to enter during the Sweepstakes Period:
Instagram Entry
Follow @raltoday and @coastal24 on Instagram during the Sweepstakes Period.
Like the designated Sweepstakes post on @raltoday.
Comment on that post by tagging two friends. Each comment must tag two unique, real individuals. Brand, celebrity, or fake accounts are not valid. Up to five (5) total Instagram entries per person are permitted if each is a separate comment with different tagged friends.

Alternate Method of Entry by Mail (no Instagram required)
On a 3" × 5" postcard, hand print your name, street address, city, state, zip code, phone number, and email address, and mail to: Coastal Federal Credit Union, Attn: Marketing — Holiday Shopping Sweepstakes, PO Box 58429, Raleigh, NC 27658. Limit one (1) mail-in entry per person during the Sweepstakes Period. Mail-in entries must be postmarked between November 3, 2025 and November 14, 2025, and received by the date of the drawing. All mail-in entries become the property of the Credit Union and will not be returned or acknowledged. The Credit Union is not responsible for lost, late, damaged, misdirected, or postage-due entries. The Credit Union may grant the right to add additional entries deemed necessary or appropriate under these Official Rules.
HOW ARE WINNERS SELECTED
A random drawing will be held on November 14, 2025 from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period across all entry methods. One (1) winner will be selected. Participants need not be present to win. The selected potential winner must accept and comply with these Official Rules as a condition of receiving the prize.
NOTIFICATION
For Instagram entries, the potential winner will be contacted by direct message from @raltoday with instructions to connect by email. For mail-in entries, the potential winner will be notified by certified mail, email, and/or phone. The potential winner must respond within 48 hours of first attempted notification or the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner in a subsequent random drawing. The winner may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, liability/publicity release, and IRS Form W-9. Prize will be awarded within 30 days after verification.
By accepting a prize, the winner grants the Credit Union permission and the right to publish the winner’s first name, last initial, city, and state, and to allow appropriate publicity relating to the winner’s participation in the Sweepstakes, except where prohibited by law.
AGREEMENT TO RULES
By participating, each participant agrees that they have read these Official Rules, will be strictly bound by them, and that the Credit Union’s decisions are final in all matters pertaining to the Sweepstakes and any prizes awarded. Each participant further warrants that they meet the eligibility requirements, have complied with all rules, have not perpetrated and will not perpetrate any fraud or deception, and have not sought to influence the outcome other than by participating as permitted in these Official Rules.
GENERAL RELEASE
By entering, participants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Credit Union regarding this Sweepstakes and, on behalf of themselves and their agents, attorneys, assigns, successors, personal representatives, and heirs, release the Credit Union and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and sweepstakes agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, members, employees, officers, and directors (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, damages, demands, causes of action, costs, and expenses the participant may have now or in the future, arising out of or in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes and acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize; technical failures of any kind; the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; or electronic or human error in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries. The Credit Union is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of this Sweepstakes, or in the announcement of the prize. In no event will the Released Parties be responsible or liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of the Sweepstakes or its prize.
PUBLICITY RELEASE
By participating, the participant grants the Credit Union and its agents, assigns, designees, and successors, an irrevocable, perpetual license to use the participant’s name, image, likeness, and statements for the Credit Union’s advertising, educational, and promotional purposes as determined by the Credit Union in its sole discretion, without additional compensation, notification, or permission, except where prohibited by law. The Credit Union shall own all rights in any materials produced that include a participant’s name, image, or likeness. Participant will receive no monetary compensation for such use.
DISPUTES
As a condition of participating, each participant agrees that any and all disputes which may arise between them and the Credit Union with respect to this Sweepstakes, and which cannot be amicably resolved, shall be litigated by the participant in their individual capacity only and not as part of any class action. The proper forum for any such litigation shall be the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, Western Division, or the state courts located in Wake County, North Carolina. Each participant waives the right to seek a recovery of punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, and any costs of litigation including reasonable attorney’s fees, and any multiplier of actual damages.
