Roll up your sleeves, Raleigh — Super Tuesday, a.k.a. the primaries — will be here before we know it. North Carolinians will make their way to the polls on March 3rd to vote for their Democratic or Republican presidential candidate preferences heading into the 2020 election.
Okay, so it’s less than two months away, but in order to vote, you have to be registered by Feb. 7, and early voting will be held Feb. 13-29. Not sure if you’re still actively registered? - In the 2018 election, there was a 59.7% voter turnout in Wake County.
- There were 735,952 registered voters in Wake County, with 216,503 of you heading to the polls on election day in 2018.
- The state ranked in the bottom half of voter turnout in the country — ranked 32 — with voter turnout at 49%.
