Of the 5,000 fastest-growing companies in the US , 40 of them are right here in the Raleigh area. One even cracked the top ten.
How do businesses make the Inc. 5000? The annual list ranks companies based on three-year revenue growth. Companies have to be privately held, for profit, and independently owned at the end of 2021.
The list includes 40 Raleigh-based businesses that had a median growth of 223%, earned a total revenue of $1.5 billion, and added 4,005 jobs. Seven of these companies are newly founded and 23 are repeat honorees.
