The 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan for the Triangle — led by the NC Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO)— is a coordinated, long term effort to improve transportation options and access across our region.

The plan involves stakeholders from Raleigh + the Durham, Chapel Hill, Carrboro MPO, and includes visions for roadways, rail connections, public bus transit, bicycle, and pedestrian projects. 🚄

Here are the goals → and objectives:

The continued development of the plan will take approximately 18 months to complete, and the MTO is seeking public input on a variety of topics in order to inform finalized proposals.

This survey will help community leaders better understand local residents’ priorities for critical transportation issues, policy goals, and the types of projects you would like to see in future. Click the button below to share your feedback and help connect our region.
