Step back in time 290 million years with Life Before Dinosaurs: The Permian Monsters at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences. 


Opening Sat., May 14, this special exhibition invites guests to explore artwork, mounted skeletons, and life-sized moving models of creatures who lived before the age of the dinosaurs. The exhibition will also include exclusive content for Raleigh audiences, featuring specimens named by the museum’s Research Curator of Paleontology, Dr. Christian Kammerer (read: a real-life monster hunter). 🔍*

  • On Fri., May 13, 70+ volunteers will gather at the Raleigh Boys and Girls Club Teen Center to pack 700 “comfort cases” for children in foster care. Backpacks will be filled with new personal care items like pajamas, a blanket, hygiene kit, and a book.
