  • Deal alert. Coquette (4351 The Circle at N. Hills St.) is serving $4 mimosas all day, now through Sunday. While you’re in North Hills, head over to Vivace (4209 Lassiter Mill Rd.) to try drinks like the Ginger + Rye and Elder Fire from its new cocktail menu. 
  • The Green Monkey (1217 Hillsborough St.) is featuring three drinks all week, including The Original MonkeyMosa which is made with Raleigh Brewing’s Hell Yes Ma’am and topped with orange juice. While you’re at this funky shop + bar, also try the Monkeyspritzer and the Monkeylada specials. 🥂

  • Stop by the City of Raleigh’s  affordable housing open house at Chavis Park on Sat., Aug. 6 between 9 a.m-12 p.m.  Learn about affordable rental housing, down payment assistance, home repairs, neighborhood revitalization, and more. 🏠

Coming Soon 

  • RBF — a champagne bar focused on authenticity + partnering with women-owned businesses — is opening this October in downtown Cary below Bull City Ciderworks. Visitors can expect to see champagne, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, and charcuterie boards on the menu. 

Concert

  • Attention concert goers: Live Nation is offering four tickets for $80 now until Tues., Aug. 9 while ticket supplies last. Some concerts that are included in the deal are Kehlani, Keith Urban, and The Black Keys. 🎤

Cause

  • Raleigh City Farm has partnered with Jack Johnson as an All At Once Non-Profit Partner. Enter the raffle for a chance to win two tickets to his concert at Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek on Sun., Aug. 21. All proceeds from the raffle will be matched by the Johnson Ohana Foundation up to $2,500.

  • As of Wed., July 27, individuals serving a felony sentence (who are not in jail or prison) may register to vote in North Carolina. This includes people who are serving probation, post-release supervision or parole. People who are serving felony sentences in prison remain ineligible for voting registration. Get more info.
