You probably know the name, but do you know where the idea for The Loading Dock came from? The dream stemmed from founder Philip Freeman’s need for flexible space when he was scaling his business (and trying to get out of his garage).

Now, the Loading Dock functions as a coworking, cowarehousing, office, meeting, and event space.

Plus, 2% of its revenue is donated to nonprofits in the area + quarterly volunteer opportunities are available to members.*

There’s a new colorful corner near Smoky Hollow. The project, created by Gabriel Eng-Goetz and the Glenwood South Neighborhood Collaborative, celebrates the area’s residential history and growing food scene. The Glenwood South Neighborhood Collaborative works toward bringing residents and merchants together to strengthen the downtown community.

Painted on two opposing train track pillars, you can see the installations for yourself between West Johnson and North West streets. Bonus: You can’t miss the “Spill” mural in the background.
