Two words — luxury apartments. This phrase has become ubiquitous in our city, as new towers and mixed-use developments continue to crop up, seemingly, on every corner. Earlier this month, for example, the City of Raleigh approved a rezoning request for Camden Property Trust to redevelop the former Bellwood Condominiums complex into a six-story apartment community featuring ~153 high-end units priced around $1,500 per month. The project has not yet broken ground.

Inventory continues to grow and support our influx of young professionals, retirees, and familiesbut with so much to choose from, how do you choose? Here, we’re highlighting 25+ of our favorite communities serving young professionals in and around our urban core.
